Medicinal Action: Testosterone Enanthate is a potent androgen hormone primarily synthesized in the testicles. It is responsible for the development of male sexual organs and secondary sex characteristics, such as the maturation of the prostate, seminal vesicles, penis, and scrotum, as well as male hair distribution, muscle development, and body fat distribution. It promotes protein synthesis, nitrogen retention, and the production of erythrocytes, while inhibiting catabolic processes. In females, it inhibits pituitary gonadotrophic function and ovarian activity.

Precautions:

• Priapism: Monitor for signs of excessive sexual stimulation.
• Prepubescent Boys: Watch for accelerated sexual development and early epiphyseal closure.
• Women: Be aware of potential virilization symptoms.
• General: Regularly monitor liver function, lipid levels, and calcium levels.

Overdosage: Acute toxicity is low, but long-term use may cause priapism. In such cases, discontinue use and resume at a lower dosage after symptoms subside. Supportive treatment may be required.
